Love, Once Forgotten - Episode 1

Ms. Sawyer wakes from a recurring dream where she bought a mute slave on the underground market, fell for him, then killed him. She gets a call: Mrs. Johnson orders her to appear at the Civil Affairs Bureau to marry into the Stone family or have her card frozen. Ms. Sawyer refuses, citing menopause and Ian's impotence, but her mother insists a pregnancy is needed to secure the family's inheritance. Under pressure she says, "I'll take care of the baby-making," then turns to a man and asks, "Are you willing to have a baby with me?" His answer is unknown.
