Cyril calls his partner to get ready: tonight she and her daughter must attend his grandpa’s birthday and meet the wealthy Payne family. He warns them that Uncle Wesley and other relatives might be difficult, so the mother insists on an over-the-top outfit and jewelry and they rush through three hours of fittings. The daughter admires the transformation while both worry about first impressions. Arriving early at the Payne estate, they suddenly see Mrs. Payne approaching the entrance, leaving their last-minute presentation and fate before the family hanging unresolved.
