When Mr. Frank arrives searching for Nora, a heated family confrontation erupts over a missing heirloom pendant. Nora accuses her younger brother Jack of stealing the pendant and pushing her down the stairs, but others defend Jack, claiming Nora is lying. Despite pressure from their father Walter to apologize and reconcile, Nora refuses and leaves angrily. The family then realizes the blood on Jack is actually from his painting accident, not violence. As Nora runs away after the fight, the family scrambles to find her before nightfall, leaving their conflict unresolved and tensions high.
