Quinn celebrates passing a test after tutoring Julian; Julian's progress prompts an adult to offer Quinn anything she wants. Quinn asks to see her hospitalized grandmother, who needs a $200,000 operation or has only months to live. The family can't pay, so Quinn vows to find the money by any means. The person offering the job proposes hiring Quinn as a tutor for their son over the summer, promising the $200,000 salary and to return her safely. Quinn accepts and goes to the hospital, leaving the operation's outcome tied to that promised pay.
