Married to the City's King - Episode 11

Ms. Rowe, recently released early after five years in prison, shows up and immediately draws Mrs. Clarke's fury. Mrs. Clarke accuses her of ruining her daughter's life, hurls insults and demands Mr. Lott—who sent her—be brought to explain why the woman is free. Mr. Lott arrives amid the shouting and is implored to "judge this fairly." Ms. Rowe insists she never tried to hurt anyone and refuses to apologize. The episode ends unresolved: a public confrontation with Mr. Lott's judgment still pending.
