Married to the City's King - Episode 12

Mrs. Clarke confronts Ms. Rowe after an incident that hurt her daughter Stella, demanding remorse and that Rowe care for Stella or face punishment. Rowe protests when Mr. Lott insists she stay; he reveals his motive: Stella has hemophilia and she is her personal blood supply. The revelation turns the apology into an enforced arrangement. Rowe is now required to live with and tend Stella under Mrs. Clarke’s ultimatum. The episode ends with Rowe trapped by that medical dependence and an explicit threat if she fails to prove she will care for Stella.
