Marrying Danger for Love - Épisode 3

At her father's bedside, Nadia begs Jake to marry her so her dying father won't die with regret. Jake reassures them Dad is getting the best care but hesitates: their love has been secret for ten years and, he admits, she's asked and he's refused ten times. The scene lays out Nadia's precarious situation—nearly thirty, mother died in childbirth, brother gone—and Dad worries who will care for her. When someone says, "There is someone," Nadia tells her father, "I'm getting married." The episode ends before Jake's final choice.
