A mother confronts her husband and son Leo, who sides against her, accusing her of being unfit. Her husband interjects, but their daughter Aurora defends her. Fed up with their rejection and the suggestion that another woman should be Luna, the mother declares she will grant their wish and divorces him on the spot. He tries to stop her, warning she won't survive in the wilderness with Aurora. Later, as they have left, Aurora falls dangerously ill, and the mother desperately calls for help.
