Three years after her parents adopted an AI daughter named Ava, the original daughter, Eve, was forced into an exchange at Smart Elite Academy to become a 'decent daughter.' Now, her family arrives to take her home, but she remains unresponsive. They struggle to awaken Eve until Ms. Leigh activates Unit 1314, a new AI designed to be the perfect, obedient daughter. When asked to prove obedience, Unit 1314 unexpectedly responds by barking, raising doubts about its true nature and leaving the family unsettled about who—or what—Eve really is.
