Not the Spies You Expected - Episode 6

At a palace hearing, a servant accused of spreading a letter claiming 30,000 troops in Tiger Gorge is exposed when the Mother points out the gorge can hold only 8,000. The servant is condemned to death and the newly married wives are spared. The Mother invites two women to the palace. Later those women reveal their mother-in-law's generous gift still leaves them far short of the 500 taels needed to leave Imperia. Realizing saving won't work, they resolve to make money and declare, "We cannot let them stay," leaving their plan to oust the rivals unresolved.
