Angela is mocked on the street for asking for a bottle and later admits she lacks money for tuition with classes starting tomorrow. A childless couple decide to sponsor her; the man hands her a card and says, "I'll pay for your tuition." Angela accepts, grateful. Classmates learn her sponsor is Mr. Chambers of Chambers Group, assume a romantic link because he sends monthly transfers, and one friend vows to become his girlfriend. On Ray's suggestion, the friends prepare to intern at Chambers. They arrive for their first day, leaving Angela's dependence on a powerful sponsor unsettled.
