In the office lobby Mr. Chambers is confronted by Angela and other college students he sponsors, sparking gossip about why the usually single, cold man would take them in. He tries to delegate the visit, but his partner appears, greets him as "Honey," and delivers shocking news: she is pregnant despite doctors' prognosis, shows an ultrasound, and credits continued medication for her recovery. Mr. Chambers moves from guarded to stunned joy, exclaiming "I'm going to be a dad!" The celebration is abruptly interrupted when someone calls "Ray," leaving the pregnancy unresolved.
