A man confronts someone who is ignoring his commands, expressing frustration. He then observes the target's unexpectedly high defense. The target flees, pleading to be left alone. The pursuer catches up and addresses them in an unsettlingly affectionate tone. A separate voice questions why certain cubs, meant to have died, are instead attached to the person. The target, groggy and in pain, awakens and defends the cubs, taking blame for them. They internally note the pursuer differs from a power-hungry tyrant in their past life. The scene ends with the pursuer stating the target owes their life to those same cubs, leaving the immediate threat unresolved.
