After his client's product launch is targeted by Shadow, the world's top assassin, mercenary Mr. Wood neutralizes the threat. Grateful, the client wires $20 million and invites Wood to a luxury luncheon; Wood declines the banquet, asks for cash and even requests boiled water. The client then asks one more favor: buy instant noodles for a Brimland acquaintance surnamed Josh, who will pay $5 million. Wood says he only takes one job a year unless it's for a very good friend. They agree to talk, leaving Wood's decision unresolved.
