Zoe faces a violent confrontation after being accused of tattling to Uncle Edward and forcing an abortion. A woman accuses Zoe of ruining Demi's child and of carrying Gabriel's child, erupts into threats—"I'll kill you!"—and then insults her, vowing to beat her whenever they meet. Zoe refuses to back down and resolves, "For the greater good, I've got to team up with Edward," planning an alliance to topple the villains and enjoy personal perks.
