Promises Made to Empty Dreams - Episode 9

Jane faces a violent confrontation when debt collectors arrive at her home demanding repayment for her father’s past crimes, accusing her of refusing to pay and causing harm to one of their brothers. Despite Jane’s protests and monthly payments, the collectors escalate, threatening her with harsh consequences that include serving her debt with her body. Jane is accused of disgraceful acts in her hometown, denied by her, but her family turns against her, labeling her a disgrace. She is forcibly taken to the basement as punishment and ordered to kneel for three days, trapped and desperate, with no choice but to endure their verdict.
