Rewriting the Guilty Truth - Episode 1

At Belora airport a traveler is stopped for a secondary inspection and the scan unexpectedly reveals 23 bullet fragments embedded in his body. An officer named Gwyneth handles the case; after a brief, awkward exchange they trade names—she's Gwyneth Sullivan, he introduces himself as Emil Sears. Emil later arrives at Langston Group where Mr. Rhodes informs him he must marry Rhodes's granddaughter to repay a life-saving favor. Emil resists, calling it dangerous, but Rhodes insists. Emil recognizes the marriage will also mean taking on protection duty, and the episode ends with, "You're my date?"
