After reluctantly agreeing to marry Leah, a woman named Cassandra confronts the man, Perseus, who accuses her of being mean and demands she apologize. She defiantly refuses. Later, Leah receives a gift from Perseus and believes it is for her upcoming marriage to him. As Cassandra tries to stop them, Leah reveals a shocking secret: she faked an illness to manipulate events, leading to Cassandra's mother's death. Enraged by this revelation, Cassandra attacks Leah, and Perseus vows to make Cassandra pay, as she declares her intention to be set free.
