Abby wakes up five years in the past amid a violent family confrontation: Smith relatives accuse her of stealing the company and Jason's heart, hurling insults and threats while Jason collapses unconscious and Nora rushes in, apologizing and taking him to the hospital. A demanding executive then orders Jason to stage Heaven's Voice tonight, prepare three hit songs and welcome star Zayn—threatening death for any mistake. Realizing she has a second chance, Abby seethes at the injustice and declares, "In this life, I'm going to show you what it means to despair," foreshadowing a calculated reversal.
