Three days before the base Accolades, the commander names Theresa—who saved him—as Prettiest Relative, sparking a family dispute. Cheryl insists her mother saved the commander and is outraged that the prize and recognition go to Theresa. Dennis, who told Cheryl to stay in the infirmary and promised support, is confronted and accused of lying and of an affair with Theresa after he redirects the honor.
