The Baby Star They Regret Losing - Episode 8

Efa wakes bruised after an attack the Mayerses caused; someone who rescued her praises an escape move taught by Dec and says she narrowly avoided being sold off. Bullied as "a murderer's daughter," Efa admits she still calls her abuser "Mom is Mom" because she has no other parent and refuses to seek a father who, she says, would kill her if he found her. Comforted by the group's protection, she accepts them. The episode ends as they declare 'To get your revenge' and set out, her danger and family past unresolved.
