At a celebration, guests turn violent when they accuse Ivy of killing their mother and force her to drink wine despite her alcohol allergy. Mr. Joel introduces Ms. Smith as a helper while an accuser humiliates Ivy, ordering her to kneel and crawl through his legs 99 times to be spared. Ms. Smith pleads; a woman Ivy rescued volunteers to take the punishment. Then someone cries 'I'll drink!' The crowd chants 'Jinx!' as a thunderstorm rolls in and the First Academy principal arrives, leaving whether Ivy will be saved unresolved.
