Arriving at a village, a man escorts the woman for coronation; newcomers must follow the blindfolded Path of Truth. Villagers notice Granny Tilda's neck mark while a court official inspects the woman, reports she 'walks with poise' and confirms 'She's a virgin,' ordering a message to the King to proceed. The husband objects, but they tie red cloth and enter a cave-like path. Strange sounds and slippery footing heighten danger as the procession leads them. At the trail's end they are blindfolded into a clearing where a voice says 'welcome to paradise,' leaving the couple disoriented and the outcome uncertain.
