A couple arrives at a mountain village that feels strange. The woman vows to uncover what the village is hiding. They find a robe and a seal and question why locals worship 'King Vincent.' A village account explains the Green family originated in the north; after an uprising Vincent's branch fled south, settled in these mountains, discovered gold, mined it and built its power. As she pieces these clues together, someone intervenes and asks, "What are you doing?" Her investigation is interrupted and the answer — and the villagers' motive — remain unresolved.
