At a live press conference Chloe, the chairwoman, is absent and her father berates her because Will, the CEO, is also missing; he warns that in three days Glory Group's cocktail must secure major contracts to save the company. A caller promises Fourseas will bring a 100-billion-dollar deal but says, "I only acknowledge your signature," putting Mr. Foster in control. A subordinate admits, "Mr. Green saved my life," and vows loyalty only while the contract lasts, leaving Foster's signature and loyalty unresolved.
