The Castoff Who Rose Again - Episode 8

At Glory Group’s cocktail party, Mr. Zimmerman arrives amid staff praise while the chairwoman claims sole credit. She publicly singles out Chloe—who was ordered to stay home—and humiliates her, demanding she kneel, apologize and “bark like a dog,” then says she will videotape it. Chloe objects but is pushed toward compliance as onlookers watch. As the event is about to begin, Ms. Neil wonders if Will will attend—most guests came for him and his appearance is expected. The episode ends with Chloe facing a recorded public disgrace while Will’s arrival remains uncertain.
