The Cure They Covet - Episode 2

A woman struggles against an unseen aggressor, pleading 'help me' and asking them to stop as they overwhelm her. She reflects on a past event where her blood not only calmed a beast but bound it to her, leading her to question 'What exactly am I?'. Her confusion turns to panic as she demands 'Let go'. A new voice, belonging to a predatory 'overgrown lizard', mocks the first beast's possessiveness and declares its own desire for her, calling her 'my sweet cure'. The episode ends as the first beast returns, issuing a lethal threat to the newcomer: 'Touch her and die'.
