A man and a woman, who share a tense master-and-hostage dynamic, must flee their collapsing sanctuary. The woman asserts her power, declaring, 'I don't bow to prey,' before he forces her to submit. He refuses to let her fight, revealing she holds the key to his survival: 'If I die, your cure dies.' They escape together on his winged creature, but their journey is perilous.
