The Day the Mist Lied

The Day the Mist Lied

Synopsis

Isabel Lawson, two years into her marriage to Allen Howell, wakes from a nightmare that feels like prophecy. Tomorrow Allen will meet his soulmate. They will spend a passionate night. Afterwards, he will lavish her with everything, bidding millions on jewelry and giving gifts that once belonged to Isabel. In the dream Isabel claws at her crumbling marriage, deploying every trick against the mistress, only to be abandoned and to die alone in a psychiatric hospital. She wakes raw with fear and fury. Her first act is to slap Allen three times. That shock ignites a cold, urgent plan. Now Isabel must outmaneuver fate and the woman who will take everything from her, racing between love, jealousy and survival before the dream can come true.
