In a mid-flight emergency, the adult captain is incapacitated, forcing his young son, Ethan, to take control of the plane. A panicked passenger confronts them, but the captain insists everyone must now rely on the boy's guidance. Despite initial terror, Ethan tells his father, 'trust me,' and takes the yoke. On the ground, air traffic control loses contact and activates a maximum emergency response as telemetry shows the aircraft is dangerously low, its fate now entirely in the hands of the young captain.
