Wendy Suhl is thrown back in time and forges a calculated marriage alliance with Axel Frost to reclaim what was stolen and settle scores. Her target is Lulu Cobb, the family's sponsored student whose schemes fracture Wendy’s life. Wendy crushes enemies with cold strategy, only to be blindsided when her four foster brothers—Grant, Evan, Leo, and Zane—side with Lulu and falsely accuse Wendy of plagiarism. At Wendy and Axel’s wedding the Suhl Four stage a grotesque spectacle, each proposing to Lulu to steal the spotlight. Stripped of power, they imprison and torture the pregnant Lulu; in a final, desperate act she writes slanderous banners in her own blood. Wendy then unveils surveillance footage that shatters Lulu’s lies, drives her to madness, and sends the four to prison—justice, at last.
