The Heaven-Sent Brush of Fortune - Episodio 10

Flora excitedly calls her father and Henry when a dead fish twitches; Mr. Bell and others blame maggots and rot. Flora insists there must be gold in the bellies. Despite protests about rotten organs, Daddy reluctantly cuts open a fish. At first they find only rotted guts and maggots, confirming doubts, but then shiny nuggets spill out and everyone realizes the bellies contain actual gold. Shock replaces skepticism as the group stares at the impossible find. The episode ends with the origin and consequences of the discovery left unresolved.
