A man arrives for a nanny position, challenging the female-only rule by pointing to the lack of gender restrictions in the posting. An administrator reluctantly lets him in, citing that the young lady, Miss Clara, is notoriously difficult and has already driven away many nannies. As the man enters, his associate questions why an elite martial arts prodigy from the powerful Lloyd family must demean himself as a nanny, explaining it's the only way to get close to the Smith family's four ladies inside the inner courtyard. During roll call, the new nanny Ana is abruptly dismissed for being loud, leading her to angrily accuse the housekeeper of favoritism towards another candidate, Lily.
