The Law God - Episode 1

As the court is about to deliver a verdict, legendary lawyer Arthur Vance enters and dramatically halts proceedings, submitting new evidence that proves the prosecution's key witness committed perjury. He exposes the prosecution's misconduct, leading the judge to dismiss the case and acquit the defendant. Later, Vance's old friend Richard, a Wall Street titan, visits him. Desperate, Richard reveals his son Eric faces serious rape charges and begs Vance, 'The Law God,' to take the case, offering a priceless family heirloom as retainer. Vance agrees on one condition: he will only defend Eric if he is truly innocent, setting the stage for a high-stakes investigation into the alleged victim's background as the grand jury date approaches.
