New media specialist Ruby Sinclair arrives from HQ to help a floundering office for three months. She immediately requests to sync with tech to build an app, but Ms. Sorell admits the in-house team can't develop it. Ms. Sorell has already contacted HR at Gibson Tech, which promised to send a senior engineer this afternoon. Mr. Gibson notes TrueVision Media also requested an engineer, then abruptly leaves to make a company badge. With the outside engineer due today, the office is left waiting to learn whether that hire will be assigned to Ruby's app.
