Mira Lane returns to reclaim her mother's residence, Moonview, from the woman named Faye who has been living there. Faye's protector, a man who calls himself Mira's brother, argues that Faye needs the place and Mira should let her stay. Mira issues a sharp ultimatum, ordering Faye's belongings removed within two hours or she will burn the residence down.
