At Vear Manor Rosia faces a live threat when an assailant forces her to decide who lives: "Either they die, or you do." Her system warns that if her target dies, she dies too, and that her choices affect Declan Spencer's affection. Under pressure Rosia shocks everyone by selecting all four targets. The system immediately revokes her Lifeline achievement and drops Declan Spencer's affection to -100. Warnings flash that her vitals are rapidly failing and her life is in danger. The episode closes with Rosia collapsing, her survival and the attackers' next move unresolved.
