After helping capture a human trafficker, Lucas reconnects with his father but reveals he ran away because he dislikes Vanessa Walter, the woman his father plans to marry. Lucas insists Vanessa shouldn't become his stepmother, prompting his father to promise he won't get engaged to her. Meanwhile, Lucas expresses interest in another woman he just met, hoping she could be his mom instead.
