Waking to find a man in her bed, the woman realizes she fell asleep beside him after talking, a fact her body seemed to accept more readily than her mind. Later, finding him comfortably in her kitchen disturbs her deeply. Though physically healed from her medical condition, she is mentally preoccupied, compulsively checking her phone for messages from her doctor that never come. This emotional exhaustion finally drives her to decide she must leave.
