The Raft and the Reckoning - Episode 1

As a devastating tsunami floods the world overnight, Beck Zivan frantically warns others to prepare by selling possessions and acquiring boats and supplies. Despite his urgent pleas, he is dismissed and ridiculed by the urban elites he tries to save. When the apocalypse hits, Beck helps Anton and coworkers escape to higher ground and builds a raft to save them. However, the survivors' ingratitude leads to Beck being cruelly cast into the sea, left to face predators alone. Meanwhile, aboard a luxury liner, survivors plead for rescue, but only women are allowed aboard, heightening the division among them. The episode ends with Beck’s fate uncertain and the survivors’ harsh choices looming.
