Theo Lynn, a Mersy High student hoping for Apex University, is pulled from class after being told he's a rich heir switched at birth. Agents bring him to his wealthy home and warn him not to touch anything. His family fawns over their top student brother Zack, offering Zack money and insisting he stay, while dismissing Theo as the 'fake heir.' Back at school Theo struggles with vocab and classmates mock his low rank despite his diligence. The episode ends with a classmate snapping, "Were you guys talking to me?"—Theo faces uncertain acceptance and the pressure of exams.
