A tavern owner is confronted by two agents, Captain Quinn and Miss Logan, who demand answers about his powerful, unrecorded specter employee. They reveal their secret mission and are shocked he knows their identities. In response, he demands payment for their meal first. Miss Logan overpays with 50,000 gold coins from her spatial bracelet, which the owner accepts, sarcastically trusting her as a councilor's daughter. His knowledge and control leave the agents stunned and questioning his true connections.
