The Iron Squad, a veteran field team, confronts Jason Yates, owner of the Afterlife Tavern, after witnessing him command a high-level specter, an unheard-of ability. Jason displays unsettling knowledge of their squad's history and a secret mission. He dismisses their demands to know his identity, claiming to be just an ordinary businessman, and reveals his true intent: he wants to make a deal to hire them as bodyguards.
