Grant Jenkins returns after buying medicine and is confronted by Mr. Hood, who humiliates him and demands he apologize to Rose. Ignoring warnings about Leo, a First-Stage Warrior, Jenkins dares them to hit him and kills Mr. Hood, shocking everyone. Friends urge Jenkins to flee. He reveals his stepmother tore down his room and that Leo worked for her; Leo is Alvin's cousin. Alvin is in seclusion and likely to retaliate. Jenkins refuses to leave: "I said I'll marry you, and I will." The episode ends with Alvin's impending return.
