At a tense meeting, Jasper brings a mute woman to Mr. Barnes’s circle and sparks suspicion. A grieving man pleads that his father, Mr. Forster, was found dead in a pool and demands justice. Barnes reveals a citywide sweep failed, accuses a mole, and points to the Paradise Club where the killer vanished—raising suspicion of Jasper. The council orders Forster’s funeral and vows revenge.
