To the 1980s: From Scorned to Cherished - Episódio 9

At a neighborhood gathering a man brings piles of boxes to compensate others after his wife took items; Jessie and neighbors accept the gifts and praise Harkins' devotion. Amelia is accused of inciting the community to pick on Harkins, which explains why he moved into the dorms and why the speaker became a public enemy. When someone objects that the goods are a bribe, the speaker insists he only wants to make amends and reveals the uproar was provoked by others, not by his refusal to sleep with her. "Does she really want a divorce?"
