Too Famous to Abandon Now - Episode 2

During a ritual a healer tells Madam Gibson her Ninefold Sunline was sealed ten years ago with golden needles and gives an Unbinding Tonic to lift the seal in three days. She must wait: when it breaks the decade-old power beneath her will erupt, yet she remains powerless until then. The healer tells her to return to the Cannon family and enter the Cloudspire Tournament to sharpen her blade. At the Cannon estate Father praises Maximus and Harvey and derides the third son. The episode ends with that son returning, shouting 'I'm back!', into contempt and a looming three-day deadline.
