Tyrant's Toy - Episode 6

A shackled man attempts to escape before his captor returns. He discovers a fellow prisoner, a traumatized woman, who reveals she is pregnant after being assaulted and witnessing her husband's death. She begs the man for help, but he insists he cannot even save himself. The captor, Mr. Holmes, confronts the man about trying to pick the lock. He offers a conditional release when the army returns to the Mid-Ring, but clarifies the captured women are considered soldiers' property, beyond his control. The man's desperate hope for freedom is now shadowed by the brutal system he cannot challenge.
