Jane returns to work but immediately faces suspicion from her coworker Lily, who claims someone joined the company through improper means. Jane pushes back, denying these implications, while Lily warns her that Mr. Reed, known for his strict standards, won't tolerate poor behavior and that Jane's position is precarious. The tension escalates as Jane feels unfairly targeted and misunderstood, culminating in a tense confrontation that leaves her future at JM Group uncertain.
