As attackers close in, she draws an unfamiliar crossbow and fires ten rapid shots without pause, scattering the assailants. Military observers inspect the weapon, call it a modified repeating crossbow and warn it could dominate the battlefield—shift the balance between Zaidham and Cheville. Commanders demand to know its origin and order surveillance. The episode ends with Wilma alive but now a watched object whose fate and the weapon’s secret remain unresolved.
